Today was SUCH beautiful day outside! The sun was shining, there were just a few little streaky clouds; clouds that just seemed to be there to highlight the beauty of the bright blue sky. It was the first cool day we’ve had since last spring. I walked with a friend to get lunch, then later we walked to get dinner. It was such a beautiful day that it would have felt like a sin to get into a car and drive. (Plus, as we reasoned, the walking burned off the calories.) I sat outside with a book (a fun book, not a textbook) between classes. It was one of those days that makes you want to sing, a day where you feel amazed that you are lucky enough to be alive to experience. I loved it.
