Quite cold here today and, guess what?
IT’S SNOWING!!!!!
Now keep in mind that this is like half an inch, the grass is still poking out of it, but to us native Tennesseeans, this definitely is a treat. Even if it’s not really enough to build a proper snowman or even really make snowballs, it’s very pretty to watch it come down. I am really surprised that it is still snowing, because it started around 3 this morning, when I officially went to bed ( after dozing on the couch for several hours) and it was still coming down at 9:30 when I woke up. So this is exciting for me.

well, it isn’t snowing, finally. but we probably already have a foot on the ground anyways. we’re in the middle of a heat wave though – it’s 16 degrees, although feels like 1 degree. it’s above negatives though, so can’t complain.
i hate michigan.

gathering.dust- I can’t deal with that kind of cold. It’s been below normal here lately and I just can’t get used to it. We went from barely needing a coat to having to wear like 6 layers of stuff just to walk down the street. I feel like that little boy in “A Christmas Story” that can’t put his arms down.
