I have had a lot of pictures I’ve been meaning to show you, starting with one from my birthday, which was nearly a month ago! (It takes me FOREVERS to upload pictures and resize them. Even longer now that my tech-savy sis is away and can’t come expedite the process.)

Those are the roses that D gave me on my birthday. He also bought me a new set of dishes, and new bedding. Those roses were so beautiful!

Those are some wildflowers D picked for me when we were out riding around one day. They were gorgeous!

All of my real vases were too big for the flowers, so I stuck them in a mason jar. Which I guess is pretty appropriate, for wildflowers.

In the car
A picture of me, in the car (D was driving!)…notice my seatbelt? All about the safety. You can also sort of see the infant carrier behind me. Which reminds me of the *snort* story that happened a few weeks ago- I was at the gas station pumping gas when this guy, who was maybe 16 or 17 started checking me out. I am 21, but everyone seems to think I look even younger, so maybe he thought we were the same age, but anyway, he goes to act like he is looking at something at the back of his car so that he can come around to my side of the pump. Then he sees the infant seat in the back of the car. He pretty much RUNS back to the other side of the pump, not making eye contact, and drives away really quickly. Sorry dude, I don’t have a baby of my own, but I’m already taken anyway. Plus I think that’s kind of illegal.
Why are you looking the wrong way?!
Another picture of D and me, but he is obviously looking the wrong way. What are you looking at D?! Gives you a good look at his pretty green eyes though. He will reprimand me for typing pretty, and not handsome, but they are not handsome green eyes, they are pretty green eyes. I wonder if our kids will have my eyes or his eyes? As you can tell, mine are pretty much black. This was taken at one of our favorite parks by the way. We love parks and go to one at least once a week.
Letters for V
Here is the start of the letters for my banner for V. They are a little bigger than I had intended, because I couldn’t find a smaller letter template. I guess I could have drawn my own letters, but I am not the best at it and I wanted it to look good. I am going to try to find some cute fabric today for the back ground, and I may have to buy some more felt. I have quite a bit, but since the letters are so big, I may have to get more! Oh well, felt is pretty cheap, so it’s fine with me.
So those are the pictures of my updates, and not even all of them. I am still working on my envelope pillowcases, so be looking for some pictures of those coming up soon. Also, as another surprise for V, I am going to get her new bedding and make her some colorful throw pillows, so I will for sure have to put up pictures of that!!!!
