A 2009 Recap

A brief recap of oh-nine:

JANUARY 2009
Where did you go on new year’s?
I stayed at my parents’ house…D had to work. :(

Did you have a New Year’s Resolution this year?
I did. They can be found here. I’d like to think I was fairly successful with all these ventures, except to stop washing my hands so much. That one was stupid. I work with small children that think “washing your hands” constitutes holding them under cold water for approximately .0000000009ths of a second. I just bought better lotion, and voila, no more cracked hands.

Does it snow where you live?
A teensy bit.  I woke up yesterday and was excited to see that it snowed…it snowed in the sense that there was actual snow on the ground ( you could still see all the grass), and snow in the crevice of the rooftops.

Do you like hot chocolate?
Yes…who doesn’t?

Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop?
No…remember, New Year’s Eve is amateur night, right?

FEBRUARY 2009
When you were little did you buy Valentine’s for the whole class?

Yeah, that was fun.

Do you care if the groundhog sees its shadow or not?

Yes, because I detest the cold.

Did you have a valentine?
I did. :)

MARCH 2009
Are you Irish?
Red hair runs in the family, so possibly.

Do you like corned beef and cabbage?
Sure.

Are you happy when winter is pretty much over?
Oh yes….not a fan of cold at ALL.

APRIL 2009
Do you like the rain?
Only if it doesn’t rain every frikkin day…which it does where I live.

Do you celebrate 4/20?
Uh, hell to the no.

Do you love the month of April?
Sure, because school is almost out.

MAY 2009
What is your favorite flower?
Tulips.

Do you celebrate May 16th: National Piercing Day?
No. I’m getting too old for weird piercings. I have to look like an adult now.
.
Is May anything special to you?
Yes, because this month has my Mama’s birthday! :)

JUNE 2009
What year did/will you graduate from high school?
2006…but I graduated in May, not June.

Did you do anything fun during this Month?
D and I had an anniversary. We went on vacation I think..or maybe that was in May.

Have a favorite baseball team?
No…I’ve never even been to a baseball game. Not a big thing around here.

JULY 2009
What did you do on the 4th of July?
D and I went to the park and watched fireworks.

Did you go to the fireworks?
Obviously, because we went to the fireworks show at the park.

Did you blast the A/C all day?
It was on, but I don’t blast it. We’re fairly used to heat around here. Native Tennesseans such as myself often refer to 100 deg. F as “a little warm”.

AUGUST 2009
Did you have a sunburn?
I’m sure I did at some point.

Did you go to the pool a lot?
Oh yes, I like to live in the pool during the summer months.

SEPTEMBER 2009
Are you attending college/school?
Only for the last four years.

Do you like fall better than summer?
Not particularly, but I like fall.

What happened this month?
I don’t know. Not a lot.  I went to school. I went to the pool. I played on teh internets.

OCTOBER 2009
Whats your favorite candy?
English Toffee.

What was your favorite thing(s)about this month?

I got to go to South Carolina and see my sister!

What did you do for halloween?
Passed out a little bit of candy. D and I went with my parents to buy a ginormous tv.  And a guy at the tv store hit on me…in front of my parents, c’est tacky, no?

NOVEMBER 2009
Whose house do you go to for Thanksgiving?
My parents’ house.

What are you thankful for?

Everything!

DECEMBER 2009
Do you celebrate Christmas?
Man, that’s my favorite day of the year!

Have you ever been kissed under the mistle toe?
Why yes!…This year I got kissed under the “mistle deer” by my friend’s little boy, hahah.

What do you want this year?
I just wanted to spend time with my family.

What do you love most about December?
Christmas!
